The Puukko is the original model of Hackman / Fiskars taittopuukko from 1959/60 from Sorsakoski factory. The same model got famous by CIA using it with the special forces in the Nam war. All the old molds and machinery and equipment was sold forward 1981, and now The Puukko is manufactured in Joensuu, Finland by a local crafter.

The Puukko on alkuperäinen Hackmanin / Fiskarsin Sorsakosken tehtaan taittopuukko vuodelta 1959/60. Sama malli tuli maailmalla kuuluisaksi Vietnamin sodassa CIA:n erikoisjoukkojen varusteluettolosta. Alkuperäiset koneet ja muotit myytiin tehtaan entiselle työntekijälle 1981, ja nyt paikallinen tekijä valmistaa globaalikäsitteeksi kasvanutta ja tunnettua The Puukkoa Joensuussa.
